This is nothing more than a plug for a good cause. At work we decided to do “Movember” which basically means growing a moustache for the month of November.
The money raised by Movember will be used to change the face of men’s health by creating awareness and funding research into prostate cancer and male depression.

I’ve been so busy lately with my new work that I haven’t had any time to do my own thing. Its all going well tho. I have a big website due for release on tuesday which is very exciting.
Anyway, I’m really starting to get the hang of this mac thing but before I post about that again I wanted to post about a widget I was working on today. Its my first widget for dashboard. Its really simple.. its a Byte calculator/converter.
I’ve been working on a few file upload forms for work and I got sick of working out the conversion of megabytes to bytes so I took the opportunity to write my first widget. This widget would of been handy in the past when I was setting up email accounts and website space limits etc. I hope its helpful for someone else as well! I don’t actually have any close friends that are mac users. Well actually.. everyone at work uses a mac.. but I doubt they would find this widget usefull.
